Polypropylene encapsulated
ductile iron (PP/Steel)
Ductile iron flange with 30% glass fibre
reinforced polypropylene encapsulation. A high
corrosion resistant flange for use with PVC-U,
PVC-C, ABS,PE, PP and PVDF stub ends. These
are ‘cross-over’ flanges for fitting ANSI drilled
pumps, valves and fittings to metric standard
pipe.
Ideal for use in:
Fish farms aquaculture
Water
Mining
Gas
Marine
Benefits:
Unique cross section (like an I-beam), 50% lighter in weight than conventional flange backing rings
Convoluted shape = bolts do not lose tension, no need for re-torqueing when installed correctly
Offers huge weight savings
Available polypropylene encapsulated ductile iron or epoxy coated flanges
Available from 2” to 66” in ANSI range with metric ID
Outstanding pressure performance with a safety factor of 2
Adaptable to both steel and all thermoplastic piping systems
A much lower embedded carbon footprint
